JIM MIN PAO On Tuesday, May 9, 2006 Jim Pao passed away at his residence in the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 85 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lynn Pao; son George (Meda) Pao with granddaughters, Lisa and Maria all of Portage la Prairie; four daughters and their families, Sheng Gwo (Jeng Fang Liu), Joyce (Sheng Lung Yang), Tina (Ney Long), Sheng Min (Jong Kue Gong) all of Taiwan and Helen (Albert Wei) of the United States; and his sister Pao Zheng Fan of Shanghai, China and her family. Jim's smile and friendliness will truly be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Monday, May 29 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. with celebrant Fr. Michael Wollbaum. Interment is to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Jim's memory to Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or to Lions Prairie Manor Foundation, 24 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3V4 or to the Portage District General Hospital Foundation, 524 5th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3A8.
