ELVIRA PATRICIA CAIE (BOAL) Peacefully, Elva passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at the Charleswood Care Centre. She is survived by one daughter Arlene Patricia Funk and one son Murray George Caie; her stepsister Elsie Scarthe; four grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Colleen and Nadine. Mum was born November 18, 1928 in Winnipeg, and in her teen years worked in the produce department at T. Eaton Co. where she met George Caie, who on June 28, 1950 would become her husband, until his death on November 5, 1992. They were residents of Wallasey Street, St. James, for many years, and later after George's retirement from the Winnipeg Fire Department, they resided in the Lindenwood area. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
