BARRY JAMES HEINDL Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the Grace Hospital, Barry of Winnipeg, MB, passed away at the age of 57 years. On November 28, 1948 Barry was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec and raised in Winnipeg. He was the son of the late William and Lillian (Neale) Heindl and brother of the late Bill Heindl Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Linda (McSwain) of 32 years of marriage; his two daughters, Farah Murphy (Michael) and Roxanne; brother Daniel Heindl (Eugene Boychuk) and by two nephews, Grant and Scott Heindl and their families. Barry was a proud member of I.A.T.S.E local 63 where he met most of his lifelong friends. In April 2003, he was a guest at the Churchill Bulldogs Legacy of Honour Dinner where he was inducted into the Churchill Bulldogs Hall of Fame for his achievements as a linebacker on the football team. Behind his tough exterior, was a gentle man who loved his family and had the ability to make you laugh, even at the worst of times. Barry will be remembered by his family and friends in our hearts forever. A special thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital for the caring and comfort you have given our father.
