MONA BRADSHAW (nee WATSON) 1923 - 2006 It is with love and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mona Bradshaw on Thursday, May 25, 2006. Mona was the best friend forever and beloved wife for sixty two years of Ernest (Brad, Brownie) Bradshaw. She was a loving, proud and devoted mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to Ken and Mary Bradshaw, Owen (fiancee, Carolyn) and Megan, Wayne and Robin Bradshaw (Brandon), Donna and Tim Trach, David and Michael, Nancy Bradshaw and Douglas McLellan (Toronto), Dan Bradshaw and Heather Blue, Bailey, Quinton, and Joelle (Prince George). Left to cherish the memory of Our Mona are her sister Violet Bradshaw and brother Raymond Watson. Mona was Auntie to many nieces and nephews. She was a good friend to many across this country and overseas. Mona's life is characterized by her many circles of influence; family, friends here and gone before, her children's friends whom she so enjoyed, Daniel MacIntyre, Harstone Church, Westminster Church, TCA/Air Canada, square and line dancing, more recently The Estates, and, unequivocally, The Beach. Mona enjoyed the cottage at Winnipeg Beach for almost her entire life. She enjoyed the garden, walks to the waterside, volleyball games and time spent with family and friends. Her spirit will live on through continued enjoyment that her family will experience at the cottage; her presence will always be felt. Mona was loyal to, and involved with many people and places. The fullness of her life is exemplified by what she gave to and received from each person, to make her the person we know and love. She will be missed very much. In remembrance of Mona, please join in celebration of her life, at Westminster United Church (corner of Westminster and Maryland) on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 12:00 noon, with the Reverend Robert Campbell officiating. Wheelchair and walker access is available off Westminster Avenue. There will be a private interment for the family at Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Oncology Department of the Grace Hospital, as well as the staff at the Grace Hospice for their loving and tender care. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Grace Hospice Memory Garden, c/o The Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, R3J 3M7, or to Westminster United Church, 745 Westminster Ave. R3G 1A5. Paradise- I see flowers from the cottage where I lie. ~Yaitsu Arrangements entrusted to Chapel Lawn Funeral Home
