Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY GEORGE KULA Peacefully, on Saturday, May 27, 2006, Stan passed away at his residence in Beausejour, MB at the age of 82 years. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Steven and Caroline and his brother Edward. He is survived by his brother Fr. Francis, sister Bernice Zurowski (Walter) and their family Paul, Diane and Carol. He is also survived by his nephews, Stephen, Paul (Cindy) and their children, Amanda, Lindsay, Heather, as well numerous cousins. Stan was born and raised in Eastdale on the family farm. His schooling started in Eastdale and continued in Hazelridge. He received his Grade 12 in Beausejour. After graduation, he attended Business College in Winnipeg. Stanley's working career starting at The Gold Mine in Pickle Crow, ON. He then worked at the Mid Canada Line Radar Base near Fort McMurray, AB. He worked as a Paymaster at United Keno Hill Mines in Elsa, YT until his retirement in 1987. After retiring, Stanley returned to the family farm near Anola, where he helped out with some farming duties, cared for the garden and tried to take it easy. Stanley had a great passion for music and loved playing his accordion for everyone to hear. He had a great voice for singing and also loved to yodel. He liked to fish, do some curling, and also enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey. Stan was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a very gentle and kindhearted man, a real gentleman. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, Anola, MB, Rev. Fr. Martin Bradbury presiding, with Rev. Fr. Frank Kula, the co-celebrant. Interment will follow at the Eastdale cemetery. Pallbearers will be Messers Paul Kula, Stephen Kula, Joey Chopp, Gordie Greenway, Tim Bell and Arthur Otto.
