CHERYL LYNN HILDEBRAND October 9, 1959 - May 26, 2006 Peacefully on May 26, 2006 at the age of 46 years. We, Cheryl's family, friends and students are so saddened but cherish her memory. Cheryl is survived by her mother Yvonne, father Bill, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Cheryl's life mission was to love her students for the Lord; she loved to teach them to read and was thrilled at their responses. She had a special love the Lord put in her heart for the less fortunate and the handicapped. Cheryl spent many hours encouraging her Dad in his illness and he will so miss her. Cheryl had many challenges in teaching in rural Manitoba; Plum Coulee, Cormarant, Wabodem, Gillam and Gilbert Plains, and loved her students. Cheryl also loved to help develop New Horizons for the day care kids. She went into this field at Giggles Grins as well as Laura Secord. Much appreciation and thanks to CancerCare, Dr. Maksymiuk and staff, Chemo Clinic, GD6, Home Palliative Care, St. Boniface Palliative Care - Cheryl was grateful for each of you. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the Buntain Chapel at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. with viewing one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow.
