ELEANORE V. BALLENTINE Eleanore V. Ballentine, nee Marshall, 81, born October 25, 1924, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC on May 29, 2006. Born in Winnipeg, MB, she loved her beautiful flower gardens, did volunteer work at the Red Cross and Civic Theater in Muncie, Indiana. Survivors include her husband of 59 years Herbert Ballentine; two sons Richard and James Ballentine; two daughters-in-law, Glenda Ballentine and Sarah Ballentine; two cherished grandchildren, James and Rosemary Ballentine. She was predeceased by her sister Constance Vogt. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Rd., Greenville, SC, 29609. Memorial services will be held on June 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Taylors, SC.
