EDWARD (TED) RAYMOND DEWAR January 12, 1934 - May 27, 2006 It is with sadness we announce the passing of our father and grandfather Ted Dewar on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Dad is survived by his children, Ray (Judy), Brian (Diane), Wayne (Alexis), Diane (Duncan) Menzies; grandchildren, Chris, Shawn, Garett, Lindsay, Kyle, Candace, Kevin, Darrell, Dale; sisters, Doreen (John), Joyce (Bob); aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his second wife Sylvia; parents Mae and Alex; brother Don; sister-in-law Audrey; and his first wife Isabel (mother of his four children). Born and raised in Winnipeg, Ted worked for Warner-Lambert (Adams Brands), retiring with more than 30 years of service. Ted was an active member of the Monte Casino Legion. The family would like to thank the staff of 4 Unit 5 at Seven Oaks Hospital for the caring and comfort they gave our father. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Friday, June 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
