Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN (JENNIE) JOHNSON Peacefully, on May 27, 2006 at the Golden Door Personal Care Home Jean Jennie Johnson passed away at the age of 98. Jean is survived by her seven children, Morris of Carman, Gerald of Altona, Charles of Oliver BC, Walter of Beausejour, Arthur (Patricia), Alice Klassen (Lawrence), Oliver (Helen) all of Winnipeg. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her husband Walter T. Johnson; brother Carl Lundy; and sisters, Mary Harrison and May Snider. Jean was born in Cascade, MT on May 16, 1908 and married Walter T. Johnson on January 20, 1926 in Carman, MB. Together they farmed for 37 years in Carman while raising seven children. She was very involved with the Anglican Church Women's Auxiliary and the Carman Legion. Jean and Walter retired from the farm in 1963 and moved to Winnipeg (St. James) where Jean resided until moving to the Golden Door Personal Care Home. Our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at the Golden Door Personal Care Home for their excellent care of Jean for the last five years. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME 885-9715
