Last of his generation, Harry was born in Berens River, MB to Alex and Martha Everett. He attended United College (University of Winnipeg). Harry then worked with the RCMP as a Special Constable. Later he entered the employment of Patricia Transport who would employ Harry throughout the remainder of his working career with the exception of six years when he was the Purser aboard the SS Kenora while working for Selkirk Navigation. Harry returned to Patricia and remained there until his retirement, always remaining a faithful company man. Harry is survived by three children, Edith Dana, Sylvia (Victor) Caux and Anne (Bill) Pay, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Harry will be remembered as a quiet gentleman who for years was unwilling to be seen outside without a hat, and drank his tea out of china cups. Harry loved music and reading and was a fixture of the Winnipeg streets with his daily walks in which he loved the opportunity to watch life around him. He was a kind hearted and generous man who always had time and a kind word for children.
