LEONARD A. BOWLEY September 3, 1918 - May 29, 2006 Leonard passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord after a brief illness. Left to mourn Len are his wife Beth; beloved daughter Bernice (Bob), his four boys, Jerry Barry, Guy and Kevin Prokopetz, their respective spouses, Linda, Marlene, Rita and Holly; eight grandchildren, JoJo and Jason, Beau and Bram, Julian and Stephan and Karl and Kurt; four great grandchildren, Dylan and Megan and twins Jaron and Jaden. Leonard spent his whole life farming in Binscarth, MB. Len most of all enjoyed large family gatherings, travel, playing cards and eating, yet he never gained a pound, a secret he took with him. There will be a service celebrating Len's life at Binscarth United Church, Thursday, June 1, at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment. Special thanks from the family to the caring and dedicated staff at Russell Hospital and Ambulance. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Leonard's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
