MARY SANDRA BRADFORD (nee BONACCI) 1945 - 2006 Widow of James Albert Bradford and much beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and sister. On Tuesday evening, May 23, 2006, our beloved Sandra passed away at home in the loving arms of her daughter (Joy) with her son-in-law (Paul) at bedside. Sandra's youngest daughter Jeanette, husband Lorne, granddaughters Olivia and Breanna, rushed to be at her side. Sandra was born in Ottawa where she met and married her husband James and had two children. Sandra was a long-time employee at the Bank of Montreal Data Centre in Winnipeg. She was a talented artist who loved drawing, painting with oils and water-colours, ceramics and more. She enjoyed photography, pets, gardening, the ballet, dancing, singing, music and television. She was a founding Board Member of The Manitoba Blues Society, and a volunteer at several various festivals. Sandra was kind, generous, and loving, seeing mostly the good in people. She believed in God, the Roman Catholic faith, and family. She was so generous of spirit that she often extended her family, opening her heart and home to several others over the years. She donated to charities. She worked hard most her life and did not have it so easy most times but could still see the beauty in the world and in people. She liked good food and fun times with friends and family, and to share things that made her happy. Best of all, believed to never be too old for lots of pinches, hugs 'n' kisses. Sandra is much loved and will be extremely and forever missed. Left to cherish her memory are eldest daughter Joy and husband Paul Kerr, daughter Jeanette, husband Lorne Lodge, and their children Olivia and Breanna - Sandra was a very proud grandmother; sisters, Jeannette (Jim) and Teresa (Maurice); brother Tony (Lorraine) and their three families, various in-laws and numerous other family, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sandra is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Rose Bonacci, Sandra's husband James and his parents William and Una Bradford. Memorial service and reception Saturday, June 3 at 1:00 p.m., Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. If desired, flowers can be sent to Thomson's the morning of Memorial or donation in memorium to either Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Research Foundation.
