Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDEBORAH GAYLE IRENE FOX August 2, 1951 - May 31, 2006 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Debbie Fox who passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the age of 54 years. She was predeceased by her father Ken Fox and her grandparents. Debbie will be missed by her mother Greta; sisters. Kenda (Richard), Colleen (Paul); brothers, Gary (Sandy), Bryan (Jill) and Kyle; nieces, Amanda and Jordyn; nephews, Kurtis, Ryan and Bryant; as well as special friends, Jackie and Dave; numerous relatives and friends. Debbie grew up and went to school in Transcona. She began her career with the Provincial Government, Manitoba Health Services Commission, in July 1970. She held many positions throughout her career, with the most recent being the Manager of the Provincial Drug Programs. Debbie played a major role in the creation of the D.P.I.N. She was a very creative person; she enjoyed crafts, sewing, as well as the arts, theatre and movies. Debbie was an exceptionally smart person with the ability to retain and recall information which was envied by many. Debbie enjoyed spending time with Jackie and Dave at the lake and travelling. She lived her life with a big heart and left this life with an even bigger heart. Debbie left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved her. We would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Calvary Place for their exceptional care and treating her like family. We would also like to thank her work friends for the continued support through the years. A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with interment and reception to follow.
