NICHOLAS ZELINSKY Peaceably and in sorrow, we announce the passing of Nicholas, at Riverview Health Care Centre. He is survived by his wife Verna; son Conrad; daughter Lisa (Dean) Didur; grandchildren, Kyle and Courtney; brothers, Joe (Carol), Ralph (Pat) and Robert Zelinsky; sisters-in-law, Beverly, Rose, Olga, Cassie and many nieces and nephews and many very dear friends. He was predeceased by parents, Nellie and John Zelinsky; brothers, Mike, Metro, Bill and Steve and sister Anne Perfaniuk. Nicholas was employed by the C.N.R. for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He enjoyed almost 20 years of retirement. He also enjoyed many hobbies, such as fishing with the family and tinkering in his garage trying to make things run smoothly. But, most of all, he enjoyed speaking with others about God's Kingdom and looked forward to the time when no one will say I am sick. . (Isaiah 33:24). Thank you to the Health Sciences Centre staff, Dr. Litschitz, Susan Kenny and the Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall Centre, 227 Lakewood Blvd. on Monday, June 5 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Robertus Berkers officiating. Private interment. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
