REAL (RHIEL) VANDALE October 9, 1941 May 30, 2006 After a lengthy illness, Rhiel passed away with his family by his side on May 30, 2006, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Rhiel was born in Ste. Anne, MB and he leaves to mourn his loss his sons, Michel (Paulette), Noël and Marc; grandchildren, Joël, Nicole and Nathalie. He also leaves his sisters, Diane, Anita (Joe), Noëlla (Henry) and Rose-Marie; sisters-in-law, Marie-Paule and Jeannette Vandale as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and his special friend Mary and her children. He was predeceased by his son Guy, his parents, Rosario and Cécile; brothers, Gilbert and René and sisters, Eleonore, Rita, Dorothy and Lucille. Rhiel was known for his volunteer work at Taché Centre where he will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care at the St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6 at the St. Boniface Cathedral. Viewing will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation Palliative Care Unit, D1003 409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 9Z9.
