MARY VIOLET MILLER Peacefully, on Friday, May 26, 2006, at Deer Lodge Centre, Violet passed away at the age of 99 years. Violet is survived by her niece Joyce Miller (Hawkins) Gray; her great niece and nephew, Vicki and Donald; as well as cousins in the Seaforth, ON area. She was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Sarah Miller; and her two sisters, Isabelle and Mona. All of her adult life, Violet was a teacher in the Winnipeg School System and loved to travel especially to Hawaii. A fascinating woman, whose unique personality will always be remembered. In compliance with Violet's wishes, a private family graveside service was held at Brookside Cemetery. Our family wishes to thank all the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their kindness and compassionate care provided to Violet for all the years she spent there. Donations may be made to Deer Lodge Centre or the charity of one's choice.
