Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORINE KELLER (BUTLER) On June 4, 2006 at Gimli Hospital, Dorine Loretta Keller (Butler) age 73 of Clandeboye, MB passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her husband Gerald of 42 years, her son Richard (Karen), daughter Wanda (John), her 3 grandchildren, Ben, Johnathon and Karianne, along with her ex son in law John MacFarlane, sister Carol and Herby Koeing (Winnipeg, MB), Joan and Bob Cassey (LaSalle, QC), Barb and John Moisan (Burlington ON), Darlene Butler (Montreal QC), Joyce Pal (ON), her brother in law Gerry Derocher (Montreal QC), her brother in law Bruce Keller (Dominion City, MB), sister in law Jean and Peter Thompson (Winnipeg), numerous nieces and nephews, and very close friends Chuck and Fran Asher to which she called family, and the many friends she had made over the years. Dorine was born in Montreal February 22, 1933 to James and Irene Butler. She moved to Manitoba in 1971, and called this home. Dorine worked at Inter Collegiate Press/Herff Jones for 19 years, and made many friends along the years while she was employed. Dorine's passion was doing yard work and spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed her weekends at Forall Campground in Petersfield for many summers. Along there she had met many special friends and all that had met Aunty Do knew that she had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. Christmas was a very special time of year for Do with all the cooking and baking, along with decorating the house inside and out made her have a smile on her face knowing she had all her family their with her to celebrate this special season. Dorine had lost numerous family members in the past years, her parents James and Irene Butler, father in law Adam Martin Keller, mother in law Ann Keller, sister in law Joyce Keller, sister Pat Derocher, brother Walter Butler along with her very close friend Barbara Harrison. The Family would like to thank the Gimli Hospital staff along with Dr. R. C. Patel for the wonderful care that was given to her while she was in Palliative Care At Dorine's request cremation has taken place and service will be held for family and friends at a later date. Dorine has requested that donations be made to the charity of your choice. A message to my family and friends Please don't grieve for me. I have enjoyed a wonderful life.
