Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES EDWARD (CHUCK) HALL Chuck passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 96 years. Chuck was born in Bootle, England, March 6, 1910. Chuck arrived in Winnipeg with his parents in 1912. Chuck was predeceased by his brother Bert of Kamloops, BC. He is survived by his nieces and nephew, Joan Thorniley (Stewart), David Hall (Barbara), Susan Peters (Dennis), as well as three great-nieces, three great-nephews and five great-great-nephews. Chuck spent his working days in the grain business with James Richardson Sons Ltd., starting in 1927 and retiring in 1975. In his younger years he played soccer, baseball, five and ten pin bowling, enjoyed swimming and was a member of the St. Boniface Golf Club for 41 years. Chuck was a member of the Capitol Masonic Lodge No. 136. Chuck served in the Armed Forces in Italy and North West Europe. He was a life member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Duke of Kent Branch No. 119, and in 1996 he received the 50 year service medal. As per Chuck's request, no service will be held.
