ANGUS DANIEL WOODFORD January 29, 1935 - June 3, 2006 It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend, Angus Daniel Woodford on June 3, 2006, of Fairford, MB at the age of 71 years. Daniel was born and raised in Fairford, MB, and spent his entire life doing various jobs such as trapping, fishing and carpentry. He also worked for a few years for Dominion Bridge. He would make his own little garden at his little house. He loved going to church, and he would also joke around a lot and tell stories that would make you wonder. You would also see him sitting by the road in the morning, waiting for that time when he was ready to go to the store at Pinaymootang. He would sit there for hours visiting with whomever showed up. Daniel had two very close friends who he liked spending time with or going places with, Gordon McLean and Edward Thompson. Daniel is survived by his sisters, Helen, Elsie, Lena, Louisa (Oliver) Bremner; and brothers, Harvey and Stanley. He was predeceased by his father Angus Woodford on July 16, 1943; his mother Christina Woodhouse, in October of 1985; his brothers, Clifford, John, Rudy, Andrew, Peter and Clarence; and his sister Iona. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Fairford House of Prayer. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fairford House of Prayer with Pastor Wilfred Bruce and Donald Gould officiating. Interment to follow at St. Helen's Anglican Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cyril Sumner, Wayne Sumner, John W. Woodford, Gordon McLean, Patrick McMahon, and Warren Woodhouse. Crossbearer will be Leon McMahon. Honorary Pallbearers will be all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by both family and friends. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES LTD.
