BRUCE ALEXANDER BIGGS 1948 - 2006 Suddenly and peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2006, Bruce passed away at home in the devoted care of his loved ones. Bruce was born December 2, 1948 in Toronto, and was raised in London, ON. He is survived by his loving family: wife Terry (McLachlan), daughter Nicole, son Daniel. In his earlier years, Bruce was employed with various Winnipeg area construction firms, as well as with Fram Filters, Northern Messenger, and Silverwood Dairies. For the last ten years, he was self employed as a general contractor. Many thanks to the entire staff of CancerCare Manitoba. Funeral service to be held at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway Ave. at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8. Interment will follow later the same day, at the Bethel Cemetery, Treherne, MB at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations can be made in Bruce's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9, or to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation Canada, Campaign Office, 2 Bloor St. West, Suite 100 - 103, Toronto, ON, M4W 3E2, or a charity of your choice.
