ALINE RENOUF (DELEEUW)
Born: Dec 23, 1916
Date of Passing: Jun 03, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALINE RENOUF (nee DELEEUW) Aline Renouf, widow of Frank passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, son George, grandson David and her brother Harry. She is survived by her son Frank (Fran), their children, Jennifer (Robin), Kimberley, Jamie, and Geoffrey (Keri), great-grandchildren, Sydney and Shelby; her daughter Judy Pisclevich (Fred), their children, Christy, Lori (Jeff), and Marnie (Derek); her son Richard (Lorna), their children, George and Cassie; daughter-in-law Julie (widow of George), their children, Michael, Paula (Darren), and Francine (Jason); sister Yvonne Vannevel; sister-in-law Madeline Deleeuw, and many loving nephews and nieces. Aline was born in St. Boniface on December 23, 1916. In earlier years she was active in her community as a long-standing member of the Belgium Club, The Optimist Club and the Lions Social Club. She enjoyed bowling, curling and served a term as president of the Heather Curling Club. The most important part of her life and the thing she was most proud of was her family. In her early-married years she and Frank built their family home on Enfield Crescent staying in close proximity to her parents and her siblings. She passed on the strength of her family relationships to her children and her grandchildren, who consider their relatives to be among their closest friends. She was instrumental in finding a beautiful piece of property on Twin Lakes Beach, which became a source of relaxation and happiness shared with her children, grandchildren and close friends. The modest cottage built in 1946 blossomed into a family village of six cottages where many happy times are still being shared. In later years life became difficult with the tragic loss of son George and grandson David, followed five years later by the loss of her husband. We believe she is at peace and content to be reunited with her loved ones. The family would like to extend special thanks to the kind and caring staff at Riverview Health Centre, as well the Victoria General Hospital. A celebration of Aline's life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Your fun loving spirit and wonderful sense of humor will be cherished forever. We love and miss you Ma.
