DELPHINE KAMINS Del passed peacefully after a brief illness, on Monday, June 5, 2006. Del will be lovingly remembered by her children, Fred (Chris), Ron (Dianne), Don (Lori) and Kathie (John); grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristy, Brenda, Lindsey, Joie, Shannon and Colby; sister Geraldine Rooke; brother Bruce (Linda) Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Arthur; son David; parents, Ethel and Fred Johnson. Del was born in the family homestead in the Wynyard District of Saskatchewan on December 26, 1930. She came to Winnipeg in 1950 to pursue a career as an x-ray and laboratory technician. She met Art and married in 1953 and they made their home in Winnipeg where hospital work soon gave way to raising their five children. Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 9 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
