Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySCOTT ALEXANDER WILLIAMS It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Scott Williams announces his sudden passing due to a tragic accident. He left this world on June 4, 2006 surrounded by his family. Scott will be lovingly remembered by his mother Joan Wiklund and his stepfather Roy Wiklund, his father Bill Williams and stepmother Jenny. Also left to cherish his memory are his three sisters and one brother, and his nieces and nephews, Susan Williams, Coquitlam, BC, Dionne and Derek; Tesia Brooks-Turczak (Curtis), Winnipeg, Taylor, Jennifer and Chris; Mary Wilson (Doug), Winnipeg, Mark, Jeff and Daniel; and Stephen Williams, Flin Flon, (Anne) Laura and Julie Cooper. He also leaves a stepsister Lisa Becker (Dean) Holly and Gillian. Scott worked for many years in the service industry both in Winnipeg and Kenora. He loved his work and took great pride in serving people. He was respected by many in that area. He formed friendships that he kept for many years in both Winnipeg and Kenora. He was a true friend to all who knew him. He loved the outdoors and fishing with his brother in the north. Scott had his struggles in life and was valiantly fighting to overcome. Those of us who were close to him feel he was winning the battle when the tragic accident happened. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 3:00 p.m. on Friday June 9. All are welcome to join a celebration of Scott's life, and a reception will follow. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
