JAMES EDWARD LANGE It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a most beloved husband, father and friend on June 4, 2006 at 61 years of age. He was a member of both the Lac du Bonnet Legion - Branch 164 and the Pioneer club. Dad loved life. His love of sports and outdoor activities led to weekend excursions to Lee River, which later became his and Mom's retirement home. Dad spent every waking minute helping everybody else while putting his own projects aside. He always found the good in everybody and easily welcomed them into his fold. There were no problems that couldn't be solved without a planning session and a beer. We have it on good authority that Dad's two greatest accomplishments in life were finding and keeping a certain Miss Judy Brandson and successfully raising two sweater stealing daughters (only Dad's shirts, of course!). A smarter man we've never met. A better father we couldn't have had. A more perfect partner for Mom does not exist. He knew the lyrics; he couldn't sing a note; and we loved him to bits. Jim leaves behind, his wife Judy; daughters, Heather Boer (Wayne) and Tarryl Hodges (Garry); and two beloved grandchildren, Jace and Anya Hodges. In addition, sister-in-law Corinne Johnson (Don); brothers-in-law, Fred Cressock and Wayne Brandson (Val); nephews, Grant Brandson and Chris Brandson (Nadine), and numerous other relatives and close friends will feel the loss of our dear Dad. Dad was predeceased by parents, Eddie and Martha Lange and sister Judy Cressock. Many thanks go out to all who expressed concern throughout Daddy's illness in person, by phone, or via cards. Also, we send a big thank you to the staff at CancerCare Manitoba. Your skills and treatment of our family were exemplary. Special thanks goes out to the entire staff of Pinawa Hospital who went above being excellent care providers and became cherished family friends during Dad's lengthy illness. To all the board and honorary members of Pee Wee's Playhouse: your actions, words, and support mean so much to us. There are no words strong enough to express our gratitude. We love you all. A celebration of Dad's life will be held on Friday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Lac du Bonnet, MB. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Pinawa Hospital, CancerCare Unit. Daddy, you dummkopf , you left us too soon. We love you. We miss you. Enjoy your next great adventure. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
