AMELIA STARK (nee STREMBICKI) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on May 2, 2006 at Glengarry Extended Care Hospital in Victoria, BC at the age of 99. Amelia was predeceased by her husband Alexander in 1954; her oldest daughter Genevieve in 1967; her sisters, Jeanette and Sally; brothers, Stanley and Joseph; and son-in-law Quentin. She is survived and will be sadly missed by daughters, Helen (Verne) and Sylvia; grandchildren, Gordon (Jennifer) and Barbara (Tony); great-granddaughter Kerri; her sisters, Mary and Anna; and numerous relatives and friends. Mom was a gifted artist and expressed her talent in beautiful watercolors and sketches; however, Mom felt her greatest accomplishment was being a homemaker and raising her three daughters to be successful in their careers. We will miss you Mom and treasure all the precious memories. There will be a graveside memorial at All Saints Cemetery Friday, June 9, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.
