KLARA ELIZABETH RIESTERER (HERR) It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Klara Riesterer on the morning of June 6, 2006. She was predeceased by her infant son Bernhardt, and beloved husband Karl. She will lovingly be remembered by her children, Wolf (Martha), Ursula (Morris Baziuk), Fred (Karen), Connie (Joe Buffone); grandchildren, Christine (Ken Polet), Tracy, Karyn, Paul, Michael, Tyler, Caitlyn; and great- grandchildren Austin and Alexandra. Klara was born on January 29, 1927 in Staufen, Germany. She and Karl made Winnipeg their home in 1958. Her passion was her garden, her beautiful handicrafts, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We little knew that morning, That God was going to call your name, In life, we loved you dearly, In death we'll do the same, It breaks our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us One by one The chain will link again. We are at peace knowing you are finally reunited with Dad. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 11:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
