ANNA ROGOZIK After a long and courageous battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of Anna Rogozik, on Monday, June 5, 2006 at the Riverview Health Centre. Left with fond memories are her husband, Jerzy, of 23 years of marriage; daughter Kathy; brother Tadeusz; mother-in-law Valentina; sister-in-law Elizabeth (Walter) and their daughter Anna; and numerous relatives, Barbara (Les) and Peter (Linda). Anna was born on January 9, 1957 in Lublin, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1991. Upon arrival, she began working hard on making a life for herself and her family. She became a strong member of the Polish Community in Winnipeg and made many great friends who will miss her dearly. Anna had a great joy for life and made sure everyone had what they needed. She excelled at everything she put her mind to, from going back to school to providing for her family. During her last year, Anna started to volunteer at the CancerCare Manitoba, helping the people who had been helping her. She is a wonderful soul who was taken before her time and will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a fighter. She delighted people with her presence, optimism, and most of all her courage. She will be missed. On Saturday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m., Anna's funeral service will be held in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Mount Royal Rd. and Ness Ave.). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Anna's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
