JOHN MCCOSHAN With great sadness, we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather John at the Concordia Hospital, on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the age of 79 years. John was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1996, and his brother Dan McCoshan (Scotland). He will be lovingly remembered by his son Alan (Shirley); daughters, Susan (Greg) Kost and Sandra (Wes) Marceniuk; grandchildren, Michael and Kristy McCoshan, Marisa and Kiera Kost and Jessica Marceniuk; and one great-granddaughter Veronica McCoshan. He is also survived by his brother James McCoshan and family in Scotland. John immigrated to Canada with his wife Helen 54 years ago. He loved his job with CBC Television where he worked as a Staging Crew Leader on such shows as Reach For The Top , Hymn Sing and The Guess Who in their early years. John enjoyed many happy summers camping and fishing in the Whiteshell area with his family. In earlier years, he loved to golf and often spoke of being a member of The Hole-in-One Club . Special thank you to the nurses and staff on 3East at Concordia Hospital for their care and kindness to our father during his stay. A private family service will be held with his final resting place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations in memory of John may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
