Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVELMA AIKENS (formerly TODD) (nee HAYES) Sept 20, 1911 - June 5, 2006 Peacefully, on June 5, 2006 Velma passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her husband Lorne. Survived by her daughter Edna (Gus) Ellert; son Bud (Barb) Todd; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Velma was affectionately known as MOM to all and loved to entertain. The family would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge (Willow Unit) for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
