SHIRLEY KRENTZ (nee JONES) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Krentz (nee Jones) following a lengthy illness with her family by her side. Shirley passed away May 26, 2006 at the age of 68. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Donald (Sandra), many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Roy in June 2001, her parents and six brothers and sisters. Born in Ashern, MB, Shirley came to Winnipeg at an early age. She began her employment with the CWB in 1958 as a filing clerk and retired in 1995 as a Supervisor in the Country Services Division. Shirley enjoyed walking the ponies , crafts and her summer garden. Friends and family were always welcome and she was ready to lend a hand if help was needed. At Shirley's request, no funeral service was held and graveside prayers have already taken place. If friends and family desire a memorial contribution may be made to the charity of your choice. We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Grace Hospice for the care that you gave Mom during her stay with you. My Prayer To those I have loved and those Who have loved me. There is a time to be born, a time to live and now it's time to walk down the path that God has laid for me. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I did not die. Be not burdened with sorrow. I would like to leave with an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times, laughing times and bright sunny days. My life's been full, I've savoured much - Good Friends, Good Times and a loved ones touch. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quit birds in circled flight, the drops of a gentle rain. I am a rainbow across the sky, soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me and cry, I am not gone, I did not die. My life on earth is truly past. I've loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me but courage take, that those we love do not go away. I will walk beside you every day. No length of time can dim the past. Memories of you will always last. Rest in Peace GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin, (204) 222-3241
