Date of Passing: Jun 04, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATTHEW JOSEPH REITMEIER (BIEDRON) With profound sadness, we announce the untimely passing of our dear infant son, Matthew Joseph Reitmeier, on June 4, 2006. Matthew leaves to mourn his parents, Joe and Rachelle, his grandparents, Irene Reitmeier, Joe Reitmeier, Casey and Jean Biedron; his great-grandmother, Maria Bonne and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Our little angel was with us for just a moment in time, but the lives he has touched are many. We feel so very blessed to have had those few precious moments with Matthew. The days leading up to Matthew's anticipated arrival were full of excitement and joy. His nursery was complete, the car seat finally installed, everything was ready and waiting for our son's big arrival. Then, before we could ever meet our precious angel, our joy turned to heart wrenching sorrow, we watched helplessly as our world disintegrated around us. Nothing could have prepared us for that terrible moment when Matthew left us to be with Jesus in heaven. We will never get to look into his eyes, see him smile, feel his touch, or comfort him. All the moments that parents wish for, were lost forever. A part of us died that day and no time will ever heal the pain. God bless you Matthew Joseph. Love forever, Mommy and Daddy. Until we meet again. We would like to sincerely thank all of our family and friends for their love and support during this very difficult time. We appreciate all of the phone calls, visits, e-mails, flowers and words of sympathy. We would like to thank Dr. Pachal and Dr. Sabeski for their kindness and care during the pregnancy. We would also like to thank the staff on the labour and delivery floor at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and efforts. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Avenue West with Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
