JOHN KARL KING Peacefully, on Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Red River Place personal care home in Selkirk, John King, aged 74 years. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Tessie; brothers, Walter and Tony; brother-in-law Alfred; and his sister-in-law, Jennie. He is survived by sisters, Mary Machdanz, Anne (Robert) Dhont; brothers, Peter (Veronica), Frank (Verna), Joe (Elsie); as well as many nieces and nephews. John was employed at the Manitoba Rolling Mill in Selkirk for 36 years. Prayers will be held on Sunday, June 11 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating. A private family graveside service will take place at the East Selkirk Cemetery. Thanks to Dr. Lindenschmidt, Dr. Hussian, staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and Red River Place for the very good care he received and his homecare workers.
