JOHN KANTOR December 12, 1920 - June 8, 2006 John Kantor passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 85 on June 8, 2006. John's memory will be lovingly remembered by his wife Evelyn of 55 years, son Dale (Gail), his daughter Diane (Stuart) of Calgary, grandchildren Kyle, Thomas, Daniel, Emily, sister Rose, also many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Frank and Adele Kantor, brother Ted, and sisters Minnie, Josie, Della and Frances. John was born in St. Boniface, grew up in Garson, MB and eventually moved to Winnipeg. He was employed at Pepsi-Cola Co. for seven years and later employed at Molson Breweries (formerly Carlings Breweries) for 35 years. John enjoyed camping with the family, fishing and watching hockey games. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff at Health Science Centre RR5, for their special care and concern during his hospital stay and Deer Lodge Centre. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre.
