Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPHINE (JOSIE) JEANETTE DEWAR (nee HILDERMAN) October 20, 1934 to June 9, 2006 Peacefully, in the early morning hours of June 9, 2006, our beloved wife and mother passed away. For the last three years she faced down non-Hodgkins Lymphoma with incredible strength, never giving up. Her courage is an inspiration to her family and while saddened, we are at peace, knowing she is no longer suffering. Josie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Barry, by daughter Carol (Daryl) Bowman of Woody, CA and by son Barry (Jean) Dewar or Komarno, MB. She also leaves to celebrate her life sisters, Shirley Miller of Regina, SK and Harlean York, of Penticton, BC; sisters-in-law Beverly Tait and Lois Weisz of Winnipeg; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn (Jack) Keam of La Riviere, Gerry (Bill) Taylor of Whitewood, SK and may caring nieces and nephews. We are bereft that her physical presence is no longer with us but we know that her spirit will live with us forever. And we are comforted, knowing that she loved us, fiercely, passionately and without reserve. There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy. A reception will follow at Silver View Estates, 2141 Pembina Hwy. Please join us in celebrating Mom's life, The Rev. Ted Nimik will officiate. At this time we must make special note of the overall kind and caring staff at CancerCare Manitoba. Dr. J.
