Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD FONTAINE (BULIZAR) September 25, 1942 - June 9, 2006 On Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Seven Oaks Hospital with his family by his side Richard Fontaine passed away peacefully. Richard will be mostly remembered for playing bingo and telling jokes with his family and friends. He also loved spending time with all the children in the community. Richard was in the army and stationed in Germany for three years peacekeeping with the Queens own rifles and also in Wainwright, AB. Richard was predeceased by his father John Fontaine, mother Helen Swampy, uncle Jean Baptist, Aunt Esther Swampy, brother Paul Fontaine, sister Leona Fontaine, as well as his special nephew Clayton (Gus) Fontaine. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his sister Lizzete (John), brother Morris, sister Agnus, brother Stanford (Lillian), sister Rose (Norbert), Noella (Morris), daughter Amanda, grandsons Johnny-cake and Darrick, also aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous cousins. Honorary pallbearers are Amanda, Johnny-cake, Darrick, Kenny-J, Farrah, and Odessa. Active pallbearers are Merv, Ron, Mike, Ben, Morris (Keesh), and Maurice. Wake services will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Ft. Alexander, MB beginning Saturday evening. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. also from the St. Alexander Church with Fr. Jerry Sembrano presiding. Interment in the parish cemetery. The family and friends of Richard would like to thank the wonderful staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, especially to Joan Fontaine, Ruth Zetner and Janet Green for their care and compassion.
