FRANK ROBERT PETERS 1915 - 2006 On Sunday, June 11, 2006, Frank Peters passed away with his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his passing, beloved wife of 65 years, Katherine; daughter Cathie Tschernow; grandchildren, Christian (great grandson Nikolas who brought much joy to his life), Carolyn (Greg Girardin) and son Francis. He is also survived by his sister Vicki Elliott (Howard), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anastasia, sisters Bernice Musick, Jean Kizlyk, brother Ed Peters and son-in-law Alex Tschernow. Frank was born in Winnipeg, the eldest of five children. He managed and operated, along with his brother Ed, the Arctic Drink Mfg. Co., the family business started by their father. Frank was a generous, kind and gentle man, who had a quiet manner about himself. He loved his family and was always there to help them and anyone else who needed it. He was a man who lived his faith. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 16, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Avenue, Winnipeg. Entombment to follow at the Assumption Cemetery and Mausoleum. Pallbearers are Christian and Carolyn Tschernow, nephews Ed and Rick Peters, Robert and Tim Kizlyk. The family would like to thank Dr. Rubinger and the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, especially Jane and Theresa for their compassionate care. We would also like to thank the staff at the Riverview Health Centre. A special thanks to Dr. John Kreml for all his kindness and compassion as physician and close family friend.
