Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDREW CHARLES PARISIEN It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear father and grandfather on June 11, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Andrew was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Charlotte; brothers, Doug and George. He is survived by his children, Michele (Rocco), Suzanne (Doug) and Dan (Debbie); grand-children, Paul, Joe, Chris, Lisa, Simon, Dana, Jordan, Sarah, Gulia, Amanda and Jessica; sister Joyce Houghton; and many nieces and nephews. Andrew was born in Kenora in 1923. At the age of 17, he joined the army and served overseas throughout the European theatre. Upon his return from the war he met his future wife Charlotte and they were married in 1951. Together they raised their three children in the west end of Winnipeg. In his younger years the family traveled throughout Canada. He enjoyed spending his time at home with his family. At the time of his passing he resided with his son and daughter-in-law at their home in Transcona. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with interment and reception to follow. Fr. Gilbert Gariepy officiating.
