CORA GLADYS ULPH With deep sorrow and sadness, we wish to announce the passing of our mother, Cora Gladys Ulph (nee Rud), on June 13, 2006 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her sons, Gary and Brian. She also leaves to mourn her passing her in-laws: Frances Rud, Laura Rud, Charles and Eileen Ulph, Bonnie and Lloyd Johnson, Phyllis and Gordon McKay; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends. Cora was predeceased by Harry, her parents Carl and Gina, her four siblings, Stella (Jake), O'Neil (Vilda), Mabel (Peter) and Roy, as well as many in-laws. Cora was born November 19, 1912, in Regina, SK. She was the second daughter of Carl and Gina Rud. She was raised on the homestead at Shamrock. In 1936, Cora married Harry Ulph. They had two sons, Gary and Brian. In 1964, Cora and Harry moved to Winnipeg where they resided until their passing. Through the years, Cora worked as a secretary in the RM of Shamrock, and as Post Mistress at Baildon, SK, where she also ran the General Store. In her later years, Cora enjoyed carpet bowling, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, at 2:00 p.m., at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie St., Winnipeg, with viewing prior to the service. Interment will be in Moose Jaws' Sunset Cemetery, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St. R3L 0K6. All those who shared in Cora's life are considered honorary pallbearers. We love you Mom, we'll miss you, until we meet again.
