Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAWINDER KAUR BAINS It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Rawinder Kaur Bains on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She was born in Vill Narangwal, Punjab, India on the 22nd of December, 1927. After graduating from Sidhwan and Malwa College Ludhina, she taught for about 30 years in Punjab. She moved to Canada in 1983 and worked as an early childhood educator. She was predeceased by her daughter Kamaljeet KaurTurka. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Mohinder; son-in-law Baldev Turka; son Gurdeesh (Charnjit); daughters, Gurdeep Gill (Harpal), Permeet Uppal (Gurdip); grandchildren, Ranu (Simar), Jasmine, Sanjeet, Irwin, Manreet, Gurveer, Harvin, Eric, Jassi; and great-granddaughter Maleena; and also her own brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces in England and Ireland. The family would like to thank all the caring staff at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home and Seven Oaks Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray on Saturday, June 17 at 4:00 p.m., to be followed by Kirtan and Antim Ardas at Singh Sabha Gurdwara, 4000 Sturgeon Rd., at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
