YVONNE M. DESROCHERS (nee FERLAND) Peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2006 after a brief illness, Yvonne passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Yvonne leaves to mourn her loving husband Marcien; daughter Gisselle; son Paul and his wife Olga; daughter Claudette and her husband Eugene; son Claude and his wife Jacqueline; grandchildren, Christopher, David (Glenda), Paul, Melissa and Gordon; great-grandchildren, Daniella, Dartanion, Anthony, Kristina, Mathew and Adam; brothers, Joe Ferland and his wife Olive and Al Smokey Ferland and his wife Georgette; many nephews and nieces and best friend Irene Gagnon. Yvonne was born in St. Norbert, MB on September 7, 1919. She is predeceased by her parents Maurice and Joséphine; sisters, Jeanne, Simone, Germaine and Anna; brothers, Léo and Dollard. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care, Home Care and CancerCare for their kindness and support. Please share with us in celebrating Yvonne's life on Monday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway No. 1 East at Navin Road with Fr. Robb McDougall presiding. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. In keeping with Yvonne's wishes, cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery.
