JOHN (JACK) NICKLAS Jack passed away peacefully at home on Saturday June 17th after a lengthy illness. Jack is survived by Iola, his wife of 62 years. Also left to mourn his passing are his children Sylvia, Wayne (Judy) and Ruth (Larry) as well as grandchildren Darcy (Suzanne), Dale, Kevin and Nicola and great grandson Joshua. Jack also leaves his sisters Helen, Hazel, Vera and Joyce and his brother Jim, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Glen and Emma, his brothers Sonny, Lorne and Earl, sister Pearl and his grandson, Larry. Jack was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan. Jack and Iola married on January 1, 1944 and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They moved to Winnipeg in 1951 and raised their family and remained there to this day. In recent years the light of Jack's life has been his grandchildren. All of his family is grateful that he was part of our lives and that he lived such a long and full life. We will all miss him. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 24th at 2:00 P.M. at the Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
