KENNETH WHEELER HORSMAN After a courageous battle, it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Wheeler Horsman, husband of Sandee on Monday June 19, 2006 at the Grace General Hospital. Besides his loving wife, his memory will be forever cherished by his children Kelly (Phil), Kristie (Shaun), Karla (Kevin), and Korine (Neil); proud grandfather of Kiera, Hunter, Konnor, Madison and Mackenzie; brother of Anne (Chuck). Ken was born in Leeds, England on January 28, 1944, moving to Canada during the Great Flood of 1950. Dad and Mom were married in 1970 and were blessed to have four girls. He was employed with Health Canada and retired in 2002. Ken enjoyed that his career allowed him to make a difference in the lives of youth. For those who accepted him, flaws and all, Ken opened his heart like no other and left all forms of judgement at the door. Family was very important to dad, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was deeply loved and he will be greatly missed. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 23 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Ken's memory can be made to Rossbrook House, 658 Ross, Wpg, MB., R3A 0M1.
