WILLIAM (BILL) FRANK WITWICKI Suddenly, at the St. Boniface Hospital on June 17, 2006 at the age of 55, Bill passed away with his family at his side. Bill was pre-deceased by his mother Ruth in 1986 and his father Frank in 1993. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Lee and Bill Jr.; grandchildren, Cody and Dillon; sisters, Brenda, Susan (Manfred), Debbie (Gordon); brothers, Jamie (Sandra) and Frank; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill attended school in East Kildonan and after graduation he attended the Red River Community College where he graduated and went on to become an Executive Chef. He worked for the Ramada Inn where he eventually became the Head Chef. Bill also worked for the Rib Shack Restaurant. In later years Bill enjoyed his career at the Winnipeg Transit. Billy grew up going on many occasions to Falcon Lake, he loved everything about the outdoors. When Bill got his own place at Morden Meadows that became his favourite place to be and to spend time with his family. Bill was a great inspiration to us all and displayed it through his courage and strength of character and love he showed to everyone who knew him. The family wishes to say thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital Medical ICU. A celebration of Bill's life will take place on Wednesday, June 28 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bill's name to the Canadian Diabetic Association or a charity of your choice.
