She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Bill. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Dick and her three children, Jan (Don) Copeland and their children, Melanie (Dave) Bayluk, Wes and Jeff; Dennis (Joanne) Willows and their children, Michelle (Rick) Noble, Dawn (Ray) Lesage, Carl, Sarah and Rebekah; Debbie (Gerald) Lyle and their children, Chad (Brandi) and Jordan Lennon as well as seven great-grandchildren; Helen's sister Mary Wreggitt; as well as Dick's sisters, Megan Howes and Weida (Ken) Murphy and numerous beloved nieces and nephews who were very much a part of her family. Helen's unconditional love of family knew no boundaries and we all flourished under her guidance and care in the gracious and beautiful home she created. In countless ways she helped out each of her children wherever she saw a need. Our Lord blessed her with a special gift as an artist painting many magnificent landscapes that others admired and enjoyed. Her love of flowers produced many gorgeous bouquets that brightened her home. She also loved gardening and working outdoors. As a helpmate to her husband she worked countless hours in their business and at their cottage on the Churchill River. Helen's unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, her church and her volunteer work there were vitally important to her. She was always willing to listen to other people's difficulties and challenges and help out when needed. She will always be loved and remembered by her family and all who knew her. A private family internment will be held. A Celebration of Life service will take place on June 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church on 321 Sophia St., Selkirk, MB.
