Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE JOSEPHINE DUBEK August 5, 1932 - June 21, 2006 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we the daughters of Marie and their families announce the passing of our dear Mom after a courageous battle with cancer on June 21, 2006. Predeceased by her loving husband and our dear dad (Malcolm) of 48 years in 2001. Left to carry on her legacy are her four daughters, Dianne (Lawrence) Costik, Darlene (Arnie) Shipp, Linda Dubek (Darryl), Kathy Dubek and fiancé Mike Allen. Grandchildren Chris (Fran) and David Poitras, Aaron and Ashley Costik, Cindy (fiancé John) and Eric Shipp, Jason (fiancée Jen) Dubek, Brett and Darcy Allen and great-granddaughter Olivea Cameron-Dubek. Also her special cat 'Babes'. Also survived by her siblings, Jeanette (Jim) Moran, Walter Domareski, Marjan (Dianna) Domareski, in-laws Jean (Bill) Parypa, Mary Rubenuik, Madeline (Jeff) Brown and many nieces and nephews. Before Dad passed away they were inseparable; spending winters in Donna, TX and summers at Tall Timber in Lac du Bonnet. As hard as it was for Mom, she carried this on after dad's passing. Family occasions, holidays and get togethers were very important to Mom and Dad and will be far and beyond missed. As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mom brought great love, devotion and a special touch that only a mother has for her family. We will always cherish those memories. A special thanks to Jeanette for taking special care of Mom, Marjan and Dianna and Gillian for their daily visits, love and support and to Madeline and Jeff for always being there, and to Rose and Belinda, also to the caring staff and doctors on 3B at St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m., viewing at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home with Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. You were the best Mom anyone could ever have! You will be forever in our hearts. Thanks Mom, We Love You. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
