JAMES CAMPBELL MACDOUGALL James Campbell MacDougall on June 24, 2006. Beloved husband of Heather Wilberforce, who, together with their schnauzer, Mollie, survives him. Predeceased by his parents, Harriet and Laughlan, and previous wife, Sabra. Jim spent most of his life in the city of his birth, Toronto, but also lived and worked in the U.K. Most of his summers were spent in bliss with Heather at their cottage, Windrush, on Lower Beverley Lake. A member of IATSE Local 58, Jim was a stage technician, set designer and builder for film and theatre companies in London and Toronto, where his career began at the Crest Theatre and included work for the Canadian Stage Company. He will be missed by his many dear friends and neighbours in Cabbagetown and Buckhorn, as well as colleagues in his painting group. Visitation at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St., Toronto, Wednesday, June 28, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, at Jim's request, donations may be made in his memory to Community Matters Toronto (35 Prospect Street, Toronto, M4X 1C9) to support the development of the arts and music program.
