CARL EDWARD SINGBEIL Peacefully on June 25, 2006, Carl Singbeil, 72 years of age, passed away at his home. Carl will be dearly missed by his wife Marlene (nee Friesen); daughters, Sandi Singbeil, Debbie (Kelly) Shymko and grandson, Garrett. Also survived by brother Art (Chris) Singbeil and sister Evelyn Pestrak; relatives, nieces, nephews and many friends. Carl was a member of the Boilermakers Local 555 from 1968-1998. For many years, Carl was involved with the White Lake Ski Gulls and Water Ski Manitoba. He loved fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, hauling wood and watching his grandson play hockey. He will especially be missed by good friends, Mark, Tony and Roger. Special thanks to Dr. Misciewicz, Selkirk Home Care staff (Bernadette, Sandra and Lorraine) and Selkirk Palliative Care for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held Thursday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so wish, donations may be made in Carl's memory to: IRHA, Home Care Department (Selkirk Division), Box 5000, 100 Easton Dr., Selkirk, MB R1A 2M2.
