ABE THIESSEN 1925 - 2006 Peacefully at home on June 24, 2006 Abe Thiessen, aged 81, passed into the presence of his Lord whom he loved and served. Abe is survived by Annie, his wife of 58 years; daughter Loretta, son Victor, daughter Gloria (Bill) Smith, son Rodney, daughter Pauline (Chuck) Lauder and son Dwayne; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter Rose Ellen in 1957; his parents, C. A. and Anna Thiessen and three brothers; Peter, Jake and Diedrich. The celebration of Abe's life will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Anne's Road with viewing prior to service. In memory of Abe, donations can be made to Rio Grande Bible Institute (Canada) Inc., Box 2253 Winnipeg, MB R3C 4A6.
