Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILY ELIZABETH WILLIAMS It is with great sorrow the family of Emily Elizabeth Williams announces her passing on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital. Emily was an amazing lady celebrating her 89th year in the world. She was well known for her laughter, story-telling and love of animals. She is deeply missed by those who called her friend and deeply grieved by those who called her Mom , sister , grandma and Auntie Em . Emily is predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Rachel Mason and her beloved husband, Bill Williams. She is survived by her sister Winnifred Mason of Redditt, ON; three daughters, Mrs. Darryl (Linda Kotelmach, Mrs. Robert (Janice) Laplante of Orleans, ON and Gail Williams of Reddit. Emily has grand-daughters, Mrs. John (Rachel) Toos, Ashley and Crystal Kotelmach and grandson, Michael Laplante and granddaughter-in-law Kari. Emily was the proud great-grandmother to Alexa, Angelina and Noah; also dear to her heart were her niece and nephew Deborah Phillips and Brett Ferguson and their families. A memorial service is to be held on Friday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home Cremation Centre with Rev. Cathy Giroux officiating. Those who wish are welcome between noon and 1:00 p.m. to visit and share memories with Emily's family. Interment will be in Redditt Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Redditt Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kenora Cat Shelter, 106 Regina Ave., Kenora, ON P9N 2Z7, Forsaken Friends, or a charity of one's choice are appreciated by Emily's family. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff of Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home, Lake of the Woods District Hospital, Drs. Hammett and Bowerman for the love and care shown to Emily. Though Emily has passed on she is never far away...for she was truly loved. She will always be missed and never, ever be forgotten. Her job is complete...her children have become her legacy and they are indeed their Mother's creation. Rest now, dear Emily, for we know you are with Bill and are once again complete.
