GERRIT (Gary) JOHANNES LISSENBERG With sorrow we announce the tragic passing of husband, father and grandfather Gerrit (Gary) Johannes Lissenberg on June 23, 2006 at the age of 68 years. His loves were family, organ and accordion playing, travelling, church, helping and giving to anyone who needed a hand. The retirement years brought many of these loves together. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I am saddened to learn about the loss of Gary. The Meredith family were very grateful To the Lissenberg family, and especially Gary for being so kind to our family during and after our house fire in Mollard road (nearby). Gary alerted my dad at work to the fire and picked him up from work to go to the home. The whole family was kind and generous to us. We would play laser tag with the kids in the basement of Gary’s home, have wonderful spaghetti dinners with his family and always see his big Shell Oil truck on site. My deepest sympathies to the Lissenberg family and my humblest thanks for your kindness and all the generosity of Gary and family. Respectfully, Stella, hazel and Dwayne. And my dad, David, who has passed. - Posted by: Hazel Meredith and mom Stella (Friend) on: May 10, 2023
